Dear Readers,
I’m on vacation abroad with my family, including our 3-year-old and 6-year-old, who already have clear opinions on the strengths and weaknesses of the world’s airline products. I’ll be back on duty on Sunday, in Istanbul, for the IATA Annual General Meeting.1 Today, as promised, I have a guest post for you from Madhu Unnikrishnan, former editor at Skift Airline Weekly, and a senior editor at Aviation Week. Madhu is a good friend and an expert on all things commercial aviation, and he asks incisive questions on the industry’s future.
